FBAC Newsletter - March 2012

News and Notes from our officers
Theft from automobiles continues to be a huge problem in the neighborhood. These crimes can be prevented by removing items of value from your vehicles. Please encourage your neighbors to do the same. The amount and types of items stolen from the vehicles could start a business.

The south end of the neighborhood continues to have a lot of suspicious persons, especially on St. Charles Av and Greenwood Av. We would encourage our members in those areas to report any suspicious activity or persons to help the police officers in an effort to reduce crime in this area.

We have also received a lot of phone calls in reference to dogs being off their leashes, especially in John Howell Park. Please obey the law and keep your dogs on a leash. We had 3 complaints from different persons last month concerning this issue.
